Value of top conference workshop papers for PhD admissios [D]
About this article
Hello, I am an undergraduate student doing research, and I am considering a PhD in ML. I was wondering what value, if at all, first authoring a workshop paper (at Neurips/cvpr,iclr, etc) can have at the undergrad level for PhD admissions? Obviously conference papers are more valuable, but is there any reason to go for workshop papers if I already have main conference papers in the works? Thanks for the help and advice! submitted by /u/Affectionate-Set9105 [link] [comments]
