About The Role
As an AI/ML Engineer on the Workday Adaptive Planning team, you will help redefine financial planning by designing and building intelligent workflows. Your work will impact thousands of global enterprises and millions of end users.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead design and development of sophisticated AI agents to enhance productivity and decision-making.
- Embed secure, scalable, and reliable agentic capabilities into core Adaptive Planning features.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to bring ideas to life.
- Lead the full AI development lifecycle, including problem framing, data prep, model training, and deployment.
- Utilize Workday Adaptive Planning’s datasets to optimize AI models for high-value outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related software development.
- 8+ years of experience with Python and numeric libraries, including shipping secure, production code.
- 8+ years of experience in object-oriented programming in Java.
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- PhD or MS degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Extensive experience with generative models, large language models, and related frameworks.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, containerization technologies, and data engineering pipelines.
- Ability to balance speed with delivering high-quality solutions.
Benefits:
- Annualized base salary range: $190,600 USD - $342,000 USD.
- Eligibility for the Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus.
